Job Description

We are seeking Experienced Truss Designers, able to generate truss placement plans and engineering using industry software. Mitek Experienced A Plus.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Read and Interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings
• Consult engineers, architects and construction personnel to clarify requirements and to rectify field problems
• Produce lay-outs and engineering to match Architecture and Structural Plans
• Self-Motivated; able to manage his/her time and keep schedules

Skills/Requirements

• Mitek Experienced
• Knowledge of Wood Trusses
• Knowledge of Florida Building Codes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Have industry experience and knowledge
• Manual & Computer drawing skills
• Math skills are essential
• Ability to communicate effectively with construction personnel, architects and engineers
• Must be a Team Player
